Tenuta San Paolo - Awards and recognition

The high reputation enjoyed by Tenuta San Paolo comes from its quality production and its refined selection of both DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) and IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) wines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Nero, Raboso, Sauvignon Bianco, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Verduzzo, Traminer and Riesling.

The Cabernet Piave D.O.C., called “Rosso di Alessandra” after the owner’s daughter, is without a doubt a special wine with its ruby red colour, intense bouquet and mellow flavour.
The wines aged in small oak casks include the highly appreciated Braida Rubrum. The Pinot Grigio, the Manzoni Bianco and the Prosecco D.O.C. Frizzante and Spumante (semi-sparkling and sparkling) are equally elegant in terms of bouquet and aromas.

The estate has received many awards at national level including several gold medals. At the Pramaggiore Wine Exhibition (Venice) it was awarded the Bacco d’Oro 1981 (Golden Bacchus Award), Bacco d’Oro 1982, Oscar di Pramaggiore 1982, Oscar di Pramaggiore 1983, Oscar di Pramaggiore 1987 and Oscar di Pramaggiore 1989. The estate obtained also the Piave d’Argento with its Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Piave Doc, and was awarded the highest score to win the Piave d’Oro 1988 at the Wines of the Piave Exhibition.
